Bharathidasan University (BDU)
The Bharathidasan University Palkalaiperur campus is located in a sprawling area of over 500 acres of land on the Tiruchirappalli-Pudukkottai highway (NH 210). Majority of the Schools and Departments of Teaching and Research as well as specialized Research Centres are located in the Main Palkalaiperur Campus. To accommodate the outstation students, there are eight Hostels with modern kitchen and dining facilities in the Campus.
