Update- Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology at Chennai in Tamil Nadu, India, founded in 1987 as Sathyabama Engineering College by Dr. Jeppiaar. Sathyabama University feels proud to have inaugurated the World’s Largest Solar Steam Cooking System on 1st of July, 2009 in the campus. The Ministry of HRD declared the college a 'Deemed University' on 16 July 2001. The university has a central library, a wifi zone, a placement cells.
